About Sherry

Sherry Schreck's journey is a testament to the transformative power of yoga and Reiki. With a Masters Degree in the biomedical field and a successful career as an engineer, Sherry made a bold decision to leave corporate America behind. Her calling? To dedicate her life to the practice and teaching of yoga and Reiki.

Since beginning her personal yoga practice in 1986, Sherry has evolved into a teacher and healer, deeply committed to guiding others on their journey to wellness. In 1997, the same year she started teaching yoga, Sherry embraced Reiki, drawn to its profound ability to soothe and heal.

A Path of Learning and Teaching

Sherry's dedication to her craft is evident in her extensive training. Her journey took her from the dynamic flow of Ashtanga Yoga under the guidance of Tim Miller to the healing embrace of Restorative Yoga, a practice she explored following a personal health challenge. This exploration led her to Anusara Yoga, where she immersed herself in over 800 hours of rigorous training with renowned instructors, including John Friend and Todd Norian.

As a Certified Yoga Teacher, Sherry embodies the principles of this heart-centered practice, which focuses on alignment, therapeutic application, and the celebration of the intrinsic goodness within all.

Healing Through Reiki and Beyond

Sherry's Reiki journey began in 1997, a path that has not only enriched her life but also the lives of her students and clients. In 2014, she developed a unique system to clear the imprints of life traumas, integrating and releasing them to free individuals from recurring patterns.
